The Music of Pixar Live! Made me cry like a baby

Before I get started I just want to say, I promise that I won’t be always writing about Disney. It just so happens that I really love Disney and everything it has to offer. Anyway.

Recently my husband and I went to Hollywood Studios to see The Music of Pixar Live! A Symphony of Characters. This was a must see for me since I love Pixar, and love the soundtracks of the movies even more.

An Orchestra performs music from composers like Randy Newman, Michael Giacchino and Thomas Newman. The featured movies are Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, The Incredibles, Up and Monsters Inc.

I recorded a little something from Toy Story for your enjoyment…. and then as writing this post I realized I need to upgrade my blog to allow me to put video in posts so sorry, now I can’t show you the video. Guess you will just have to go see it for yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️. But here are some kind of crappy pictures!

The Up sequence made me and everyone else around me cry like a baby. But it was incredible.

My favorite part of this show though was the Finding Nemo portion. The score for Finding Nemo is my FAVORITE. I have a song from the movie wake me up every morning, it’s called “Field Trip” and they play that song. I was so happy and it legit sounded like my phone was just playing the song.

This is a temporary show taking place this Summer with the last show taking place on August 27, 2017. It is performed daily at 5:oo PM, 6:45 PM and 8:00 PM. The show is approxamately 40 minutes long but it is 100% worth your time. I highly suggest getting a Fast Pass for this show because your seats will be fantastic.

See ya next time!
