I am going to start a series of blog posts called Brewery Tour because I enjoy going to breweries, taking tours, and trying new beers. I wouldn’t call myself a beer connoisseur by any means because I don’t like IPA’s, I can’t drink an entire glass of a Stout and I don’t like overly hoppy anything. That being said, I love Belgian White’s, Shandy’s, Wheat Beers, Red Ales, Lagers, etc. So there is still a lot out there for me to try.
The first stop on the Jessamack Brewery Tour is Orange County Brewers. Located in Downtown Orlando, (131 N. Orange Avenue Orlando, FL 32801) this brewery was awesome. It’s not very big but it has board games on the tables, giant Jenga in the back and a Pizza place inside that has a wood burning oven that makes really good pizza and wings.
My favorite beer there was the Bleached Blonde Ale. It was light and crisp but full of flavor. Also, the price was great, only $5 for a pint. So it didn’t kill my wallet when I got another round (or two).
A friend of mine that I went with got a flight, which comes on a board that is in the shape of Florida which was pretty cool.

Once again, I didn’t take pictures of the food but we got a macaroni and cheese pizza to share (yes, macaroni and cheese pizza), wood fired wings (holy crap these were DELICIOUS), and a pepperoni Stromboli.
I really enjoyed Orange County Brewers and I will 100% go back for the beer, and the pizza. Here is their current menu if you are interested in checking it out!
