About that time again, recently had a breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare. Let us review!1900 Park Fare is one of many Disney breakfast options on property and I am working my way toward eating at all of them to rank them by both food options and experience. This is number four so far. And number three on the character experience breakfast list.
Like all buffets, there is plenty to choose from. In my opinion buffets are the perfect thing for picky eaters like myself because there is a guarantee that you will find something you will eat. With that being said, and you will be proud, I actually took a picture of my food prior to eating it.. I told you, you would be proud.
Now before you look, DO NOT JUDGE the amount of food on the plate. It is less than it looks. I had two Mickey Waffles (GOAT breakfast food btw) and a biscuit, which took up a lot of space on my plate.First thing I am going to bring up is that breakfast pizza…… um, it was.. ok. I would not eat it again, actually I didn’t even finish it so that is saying something.
The Mickey Waffles, like I said, are GOAT when it comes to breakfast food. They are crispy on the outside and so deliciously fluffy on the inside. Everyone should eat mickey waffles while at Disney.
Everything else was normal breakfast food, biscuit and gravy was pretty good, the eggs are eggs, bacon is bacon, tater tots are tater tots, etc.
The one thing everyone raves about in regards to the food at 1900 Park Fare is the Strawberry Soup.

Now, I only got a tiny bit so that is why there is barely anything in that bowl. I didn’t really like this, it just tasted like melted strawberry ice cream. If you like strawberry ice cream you will 100% like this so definitely give it a try. At the end of your meal they also give you a recipe card for the soup.
So my feelings on the food: it’s good but it’s nothing special.
Now, let’s talk about the characters. I am not a person who like meeting what they call “face characters” only because I am really awkward and when they talk to me. I have no clue what to say even though I know everything about their movies/characters and it really should not be awkward. I also met Snow White once and it was so awkward that it just made me never want to talk to another character.
All that nonsense being said, the characters were really fun! The characters at this breakfast are Alice, the Mad Hatter, and Marry Poppins. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet were there as well. Which I want to point out, Piglet is not always a character at this breakfast, it is usually Tigger, so Piglet being there was a fun surprise! Being at breakfast with two other friends made my awkwardness less awkward. Here are some pictures!
My only issue I had with 1900 Park Fare was you were basically eating on top of the person next to you. I had to suck it in when I was going to take pictures with the characters so my butt wouldn’t touch other peoples food. Which ew.
I don’t remember this location being so tiny when we ate dinner here years ago. And maybe it was just because of where we were seated but nonetheless it didn’t seem very comfortable. I took a picture of the dining room just to show you the decor but you can also kind of see how small it is, and to give you more of the picture, there were no tables behind me when I took this. All of this taken into account, I probably won’t go back. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check it out. I just know that I have been to better breakfasts on property.
Let me know if you have been here and what you thought in the comments below!
